I am a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, rare but true. For the first part of my life I focused on the left side of my brain. I became a CPA and received a MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. However, I was restless behind a desk so I became group fitness instructor and a personal trainer and ultimately purchased my own Women's Health Club. In my spare time I earned my commercial helicopter pilot's license. But I was still missing my creative side. My mother is an artist and I was exposed to a variety of art growing up. My favorite art form, stained glass, became my passion, where my love of animals and underwater photography assists me in designing vibrant, original glass works of art.
My work has been shown at the Gary's Island Home Store at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, Ca, The Lake Las Vegas Montelago Village Fine Art Festival, The Trails Village Center Artwalk in Summerlin, The Gallery of Excellence at the Las Vegas Glass Expo and Art Bark Fest, Animal Art & Wine Festival in Squaw Valley, CA. I was the featured artist in the January 2009 Edition of the Summerlin Home News and my Vitri-Fusáille glass art was displayed in the Dec/Jan 2007 publication of "Glass Craftsman" magazine. Christine's Glass was profiled in "Arf Gallery" in the Jan/Feb 2008 issue of Lucky Dog Magazine. My Exhibit "Bringing Animals and Nature to Life in Stained Glass" was recently at the Summerlin Library Gallery in Las Vegas, Nevada. I received First Place and the People's Choice award for my stained glass panel "Desert Bloom" shown in the Gallery of Excellence at the 2009 International Glass and Bead Expo held in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 1-5. Currently, my glass art mediums are being shown at Eden Home Store in Santa Barbara, CA, Scraps 4 Pets and the Enterprise Library Gallery in Las Vegas, NV.
